MacDougall House Bed and Breakfast
celebrating more than 120 years of heritage
Step Back In Time
Spend some days - or more - with us, experiencing a more peaceful life. Your mind and body will thank you and want to come back...often. Sometimes we all yearn for tranquility and a little bit of home-style pampering.
The MacDougall House offers the comforts of home without any of the stress.
Whether you seek the rocking chairs and flower-sweet breezes of summer or a beautiful winter wonderland, the Victorian architecture calls you home to its comfortable charm. Built in 1896, our Bed and Breakfast was known for many years as The Northern Guest House. Reopened in 1993, our goal is to offer you relaxation with the richness of history.
Activities abound, all within a stroll’s distance: golf, swimming, sailing, shopping, gourmet dining, bicycling, and both cross-country and downhill skiing.
We offer five beautifully furnished rooms plus a two-room suite, each with its own private bath. The full breakfast features All-American specialties made fresh every morning.
Imagine waking up to the wonderful aromas of an old fashioned family style breakfast
